In December 2024, Sakhalin State University was honored to welcome the Consul of the Republic of Uzbekistan who paid a visit with the view of enhancing international cooperation and cultural exchange. During his visit the Consul had a meeting with the university Vice Rector and Uzbek students.
The main purpose of the visit was to discuss opportunities for expanding academic and scientific cooperation between Sakhalin State University and Uzbek educational institutions. The Consul emphasized the importance of exchanging experience in the field of education and science, as well as the prospects for implementing joint programs.
During the meeting the Consul also found time for each student to discuss their problems and future plans in person.
The Consul expressed hope for the further development of relations, noting that cooperation in the field of education opens up new horizons for students and contributes to the development of cultural dialogue between nations. Sakhalin State University, in its turn, is ready to support these initiatives and develop international cooperation at all levels.
